It was just a little too warm in our kite capital today…
I normally never hate on Accuweather since it’s the best thing I have ever discovered but to call 36 degrees “summerlike”? C’mon Accuweather, summerlike doesn’t do these kinds of temperatures justice.
Found a new furniture set for Joey on my way home today since her couch is the most uncomfortable seating I have ever experienced.
Forgot to mention that they had a crazy cocktail-esque performance as well. This man later lit his pants on fire for a few seconds. Cray cray!
Went a club last night called kaka club. Already off to a good start with a name like that. Anyways, they had a magician performing last night and it was kind of amazing. I don’t remember any trick being exceptionally great but I loved the fact that they had a magician and I doubt that I would see such a sight at a club in Canada.

Turns out that timio and Joey had never been to hooters before and I deemed this unacceptable. Went there for drinks after a delicious Greek dinner.

So I left my classroom today afterschool expecting to see Timio, Joey, and Alison waiting for me but instead found a crowd of people outside my door looking at a pet tarantula! Apparently it belongs to one of my students and he said she would not bite and he is usually pretty dependable so I believed him and held her for a little bit. She’s actually super soft and wasn’t as scary to hold as I expected.
Sam and I love these green bean popsicles they have here. I bought a whole package of them today, but when we opened it, the colour was a bit off (looked like baby poop, but it usually looks kinda like baby poop anyways… Just aged baby poop today). I wanted to stop eating, but I didn’t. Story of my life. We’ll find out if that was the right or terribly wrong choice later.
Coolest fish ever. He cleans the rocks by eating them and then they drop out of his bottom just moments later!
Joey is a messy eater but at least she knows it. No shame in rocking a napkin as a bib.
